PHOTOGRAPHER’S LOG:
Someone told me once that Dark Energon first made the jump to humans with some poor bastard named Raft or Raf...or whatever. Ate him up pretty good I guess, but he made it back. Barely.
Usually you end up like those Glass Heads…mutated husks straight out of a Romero flick. Rabid. Relentless. Like bulldozers whose driver jammed the gas pedal down and jumped off before things got messy. Movie zombies want brains, these freaks don’t want anything…other than to shred you limb from limb.
But Energon moves quickly and always ends the same way: a sad little pile of purple crystals.
On paper, the play is simple. Keep your distance. Let the toxic geologic process take its course. Out in the field though, that plan falls apart fast.
They just keep coming at you until there’s nothing at all left alive. Knowing how long you have before it’s finally over is the part nobody ever agrees on.
