ARCHIVIST NOTES:
This one appears to be earliest of the set, simply labeled ‘Dossier #1’. Late ’80s marketing disguised as legit IMINT. Translated, these pages try to read like military documents, but the even lighting and crispness of the captures betray the illusion — cleverly disguised studio shots masquerading as in-the-field photography.
Can’t fool me. I know the difference. These are fingerprints left behind by the previous archivist. That guy built this style guide for me unintentionally, long before I ever picked up a camera. Whoever it was, he left these behind like breadcrumbs on saddle-stitched, halftone-printed paper.
It’s been catalogued and filed away safely with the others I’ve found so far. Precious contraband.
